The price jumped past your Max extra to buy before the order reached Polymarket. Try again, or allow a little more room in Controls.
Outside your price range
The price is above your Highest price or below your Min price per share. The buttons grey out and tell you when this happens.
Too early or too late
If you set an Earliest buy time, buying opens only when that much time is left, and the button shows "Opens at m:ss left". Taps in the last 3 seconds of a round are also refused.
A daily limit was reached
You hit your daily loss limit, or you already have the most money in open bets that your settings allow. Limits reset at midnight Pacific time.
Not enough cash
Your available balance is too low for the bet size. Fees you owe are set aside and can't be used to trade.
Polymarket was busy
Now and then Polymarket is slow or briefly unavailable. Wait a moment and try again. Check our Status page if it keeps happening.
